Casa’s children’s home mission is to protect, nurture, educate, and love abandoned and abused children in Hermosillo, Mexico. Currently, Casa is developing an adoption program to place the children with loving families who would give them a stable environment for a future of health, spiritual wholeness, and excellence.

Our annual Christmas candlelight celebration at the park will give us an
opportunity to let our world know that Jesus came for them! Every year, new people in our community hear the Good News of Christ through this event. Our goal is to reach at least 2,500 people over two nights this year!
As part of God’s plan to grow the faith of the people in His church, He calls us to sacrificial giving from time to time. This offering will position us to make a greater impact in our world, in our city, and our church for the Kingdom of God.
The regular Grove offering is the proportional amount (the tithe of 10%) that we set apart on a systematic basis and give throughout the year. From time to time there are opportunities to give in a sacrificial way. This special offering should be over and above what you regularly give.
This special offering will need to involve everyone. Please prayerfully consider a sacrificial gift that will stretch your faith. The precise amount you give is between you and God. Some of you can give a $2,000, $10,000, or even a $50,000 gift. Others will be able to give between $100 and $500. The issue is not equal giving, but equal sacrifice. What amount can you give that will stretch your faith?
The best time to give will be the first Sunday after you receive this mailer. Please pray about making your gift that day. However, you can continue to give until December 31st, 2024. Please
select the “Christmas Offering” field on the offering envelopes or include a note designating that your gift is for the Christmas Offering. Remember, consistent gifts add up over time—a person giving $50 per week over a six-week period will give $300 to this offering.

All gifts to Grove Church, whether via the regular offering or this special offering, are completely tax deductible. Your gift will be deductible in the tax year given (i.e. gifts given in 2024 will be deductible on your 2024 taxes). Please be sure to include your name and address when you give so that a statement can be sent to you for your tax preparations.
