Our Mission
Our mission is simple: To Know Him and Make Him Known
This simple statement incorporates both our vertical relationship with God found in the Great Command (Matthew 22:37) and our horizontal relationship with people in the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:18).
We believe as we passionately seek to know God and radically pursue deep relationships with those He has called us to, Jesus will be revealed in our midst!
Our deep rooted desire is to “look upon the Lord in the sanctuary, beholding his power and glory” (Psalm 63:2), that we might see “the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Cor. 4:6). As we commit our lives to worship and the preaching of Scripture as a body of believers God promises to “conform us into the image of His Son” (Romans 8:29). This is the great mystery: “Christ in us the hope of glory” (Col. 1:27).
Our firm conviction is that this “hope of glory” is not just put on display for others to see, but finds its truest expression through real, organic relationships. That the life of Christ would stir such a deep affection for each other that we would be happy to “impart not only the gospel of God, but also our very own lives, because you had become so dear to us” (1Thess. 2:8).
Come and be rooted and grow with us at the Grove as we seek to know Him and make Him Known!
